The Spring Community of Practice will kick off with a PBL Meet & Greet, where new and returning faculty will connect with their project partners and collaboratively develop the scope of work for their interdisciplinary project. During this initial session, teams will define goals, outcomes, timelines and deliverables to ensure that each team has a unified vision, well-defined goals, and a solid plan for creating high-quality PBL curriculum.
Following the kickoff, PBL project teams will participate in three additional group check-in sessions. These sessions are designed to support progress and refine project components through peer feedback and collaborative problem-solving. By the conclusion of the Community of Practice, teams will have developed ready-to-use PBL materials, met established milestones, and strengthened their capacity to design and implement effective project-based learning experiences.
Both new and returning faculty are strongly encouraged to join this final PBL cohort as grant-funded support will conclude at the end of the semester.
